Bad medical care is not something that needs to be accepted or tolerated.  To many staff of the NHS are committing negligent acts and not being held accountable.  Sometimes, these negative situations are ongoing or end in horrible ways.  From our experience and the experiences of our friends, there is no adequate complaints procedure, no one actually has authority to hold most staff accountable, and the majority of staff never face consequences for their actions.  Despite malpractice being a civil offence.  Too many staff don't take their jobs and positions seriously.  Many staff do not provide adequate care. Many staff are undereducated and in some cases not even certified or licenced.   The phrase "I don't know." has become all to common by GPs and specialists and this needs to stop.
